The TECC Summit is an annual meeting of the technical experts working in Compute Canada.

Venue
The summit will be held in the Sobey Building (SB) at Saint Mary's University (SMU). Please download the campus map and the map of the building (PDF format).

- Transportation
Saint Mary's University is approximately a 40-minute drive away from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. The AIrporter Shuttle Service runs fairly regularly from the airport to downtown for $19.50 one-way or $36.00 return. Taxi service is available curbside in the arrivals area. A one-way trip downtown is $53.00.
- Parking
For those looking to park on campus, there is a $5/day fee. If you'd like us to arrange the parking pass on your behalf, please email Florence Woolaver with your name, license plate number, and province of registration. Payment can be made at registration on the 25th.
Registration and Cost
Please register by October 18, 2011 by emailing Dianne O'Leary with your name and consortium. Please indicate in the email if you have any food sensitivities.
Cost to participants will be $30, which will cover lunch on both days. Payment can be by cash or cheque only at the morning welcome on October 25. Cheques can be made out to the Institute for Computational Astrophysics.

- The tour consists of two parts. You are welcome to attend both parts or only the first general part if you wish. Note that the general tour overlaps the coffee break back at Saint Mary's.
- The facilities being toured are in the Tupper Building on the Carleton Campus (PDF campus map, building F200) of Dalhousie University.
- A group will leave the meeting main site (Sobey 422) no later than 09:15 to walk to Dalhousie University.
