Michelle Shaw

Michelle Shaw, ACENET's Computational Research Consultant at MUN, willbe moving to Redmond, WA to take on a new position as a Software Engineer with Microsoft's HPC Division. We will miss Michelle and theenergy and dedication she brought to research support in Atlantic Canada. Michelle's last day with ACENET will be June 10. Please join me in wishing her all the best as she takes on these new challenges and opportunities.

MUN Molecular Dynamics Workshops

ACENET's Dr. Shah Razul will be delivering a series of workshops on molecular dynamics theory, simulations, and the package GROMACS at Memorial University on June 13-15 to coincide with the 2011 Canadian Association of Physicists Congress.

Outage Schedule

Scheduled electrical power outages at two of our universities require cluster outages.

Mahone		June 3 (starting 1:00 PM) to June 6
Brasdor		June 12 (starting 4:00 PM) to June 13 

Jobs will not be scheduled that would run into the outage periods, based on their h_rt.
